The eCommerce Specialist will lead all aspects of Cartel’s eCommerce channel by driving revenue growth, reaching new customers and developing a new subscription program through cartel The eCommerce Specialist role will work with Digital Marketing Specialist to design marketing initiatives that lead customers to the website through paid search, advertising, SEO, content marketing and social media. This position will be responsible for website customer service and working with web developers to improve the UX of the website.   • Analyze and optimize conversion, AOV ( Average Order Value), bounce rates and other key metrics to ensure traffic converts to sales.
  • Support ongoing platform upgrades and maintenance efforts including, but not limited to the creation and updating site graphics, content creation and business information.
  • Work with website developers to roll out new functionality and features that will make the purchase path even more frictionless.
  • Optimize the store and user experience and make sure day-to-day users are able to browse, take advantage of our promotions and checkout easily.
  • Lead projects that will affect AOV, conversion and other key eCommerce customer experience metrics and exceed sales targets.
  • Plan, prioritize, A/B test and implement optimization projects, tracking and measuring their effectiveness.
  • Optimize the customer journeys to convert browsers into repeat buyers using strategies like SEO, customer empathy mapping, buying-centric content and others.
  • Enable inventory to be available for consumers to purchase, update product information and write compelling copy for new products.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop channel and campaign programming.
  • Create and track major eCommerce store metrics and KPI’s, building reports to give cross functional and visibility into digital performance and regularly express insights and next steps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and systems.
  • Responds to all website inquiries regarding subscription program, product information, shipping delays and general customer questions.


  • 3 years’ experience in eCommerce product management and website development.
  • Deep use of WooCommerce, Shopify Plus, ShipStation and other website integrations.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and generating growth.
  • Experience using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify Data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through.
  • Self-Starter and self-motivated individual that can drive website sales and growth.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask without any loss of output or focus.
  • Eager and able to learn new systems and processes quickly.
