SUMMARY

The Retail Operations Manager spends their days overseeing locations, paying close attention to employee and guest experience as well as location alignment with company vision and standards. They act as a partner for both the Director of Retail and the Store Leads to ensure all company processes and procedures are upheld, coaching to help meet performance goals and measurables as well as provide feedback and coaching on inefficiencies or areas of improvement. They focus on top line revenue by building community engagement while coaching Store Leads on bottom line performance indicators such as waste reduction and labor spending. They assist Store Leads and locations during operating hours with store emergencies and troubleshooting. They assist the Director of Retail and Store Leads in location management and operations and work to limit stress and employee turnover within the retail department by offering responsive support and coaching. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts in-store evaluations pertaining to environment, service & beverage quality.
  • Assists the Director of Retail in overall operation of retail stores.
  • Drives store performance on key measurables.
  • Assists in the barista training program implementation within retail locations
  • Coach and assists in new employee onboarding and training
  • Uphold and coach to company core values and standards within retail locations.
  • Audits and attends to customer facing websites 
  • Addresses inefficiencies in back end company systems and processes
  • Plans and participates in community engagement events and opportunities
  • Functions as a barista as needed. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Two years of Cartel Employment and three years barista experience preferred
  • Arizona Food Handlers Certification
  • Conflict resolution and customer service skills required
  • Ability to monitor and assess the performance of individuals and coach on performance
