We launched our StartEngine campaign, opening up ownership to our community instead of taking the traditional venture capital route.
We announced our West Hollywood location, marking our expansion into the Los Angeles market. This move represents our first major push into California beyond Palm Springs.
We continued our Give Back Blend program, partnering with One Step Beyond, El Grupo, Almost There Rescue, Girls on the Run of Maricopa County and directing 10% of sales from that coffee to support their programs.
Our production facility gave us the infrastructure to support growth while maintaining quality. We invested in our team, our sourcing practices, and the operations that let us scale without losing what makes Cartel special.
Throughout the year, every decision reinforced our commitment to staying independent while building something sustainable. We kept our focus on quality coffee, ethical sourcing, and creating spaces where communities gather.
Two of our coffees won Bronze awards at the Global Coffee Awards — our Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and our Blend 48.
