Description
Santa Isabel is a fan-favorite coffee from Cobán, Guatemala we offer annually at Cartel Roasting Co. Finca Santa Isabel has a vibrant history dating back to 1875 when the Valdés family took possession of it. Today, Finca Santa Isabel samples with several coffee varieties, like Caturra and Pache, and utilizes polyurethane packaging for shade in their nursery. Because of an extended flowering season, coffee cherries typically mature at different stages, requiring several passes for selective picking of the best cherries. Coffee has helped fuel Guatemala’s economy for over a hundred years and remains one of Guatemala’s principal export products, accounting for 40% of all agricultural export revenue.
