Cartel Roasting Co. & GSACPC

“We love collaborating with businesses who started in Arizona like Cartel Roasting Co. who believe in investing in girls,” said co-CEO Christina Spicer. “GSACPC respects how intentional Cartel Roasting Co. is with sourcing their products and this is something that we know our girls care deeply about. We’d like to thank the team at Cartel who have been wonderful to work with and we appreciate their support during our 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season and hope this can be a long-standing partnership.”

The Importance of Leadership Development

GSACPC’s mission is to build courage, confidence, and character. They provide each girl with the chance to feel a sense of belonging through authentic and worthwhile experiences. For over 112 years, Girl Scouts has been a leadership development organization allowing K-12 girls to explore areas in STEM, Outdoors, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship.

“We believe every girl should have an opportunity to thrive, and every individual should have an opportunity to contribute,” Spicer said. “Our organization strives to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment where diverse perspectives are valued, systemic barriers are dismantled, and racial equity is actively pursued.”

Further, GSACPC commits to ensuring its members and their families feel loved, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

“We consider every Girl Scout as a success story because she is connected to an organization that provides a safe space and sense of belonging allowing her to dream big,” Spicer said. “Girls are the leaders and innovators our future world requires, and being Girl Scouts gives them the space, support, and tools they need to succeed. We love to remind our community that before she becomes a CEO, discovers a new species, or teaches the next generation; she’s a Girl Scout.”
